So I was at a concert...again *lol* Just this times, it was the performance of a band I've never seen and hardly heard of before: basta. That's a German a-capella-group from Cologne...though the guys are pretty good comedians, too. A colleague at work is friends with the band and got me, my direct colleague and my former boss (incl. his family) free tickets for last night's performance in Mülheim a. d. R. And even though the guys don't really do my favourite kind of music, I had a grand time last night. Their self-written (mainly German) songs are funny and really good...especially their parody of other bands/singers such as Rammstein, Herbert Grönemeyer, Marianne Rosenberg and Madonna *lol*

All in all it was nice to be at a more quiet concert for once...and I even got to meet the band-members after the show for handshakes and some small-talk. They're all really nice and maybe I'll go to one of their shows again one day. After all, they'll come to my hometown next year *gg*

Here's what basta sound like:

Cute, isn't it?

And here's a pic of them, too:

Anyway, wish you all a grand Sunday! *hugs flist*

I heard some songs from Basta but i didn't like them. My favorite a-capella-group comes from cologne, too: the Wise Guys. They also perform self-written songs which are a mixture of slow and fast. I saw them this year in Reutlingen and in Freiburg i.B. and I love it. It's a nice alternative to Basta *ggg*

Oh yeah, I've heard of THE WISE GUYS...and there are posters of them all over the place for some charity campaign so I know what they look like, too *lol* However, a-capella-music is still not my favourite kind of music...so yeah...it's nice but that's it (though I gotta say that some of basta'a lyrics should be R-rated. Definitely not made for kids *lol*). Glad to hear you had fun with THE WISE GUYS though, dear *hugs*
